Innovation hub for healthy forest awaits applications

Founders who offer sustainable solutions for dry and overused forests can apply for the funding program until July 7, 2022.
Deforestation, overuse, drought and pests are destroying large areas of forest in Germany and worldwide. For this reason, the Future Forest Initiative is developing an innovation hub. From this, solutions for a healthy forest are to emerge. Founders and start-ups can now apply for the support program until July 7. The program will take place from 4. August to September 6, 2022.
The program is aimed at startups that develop digital solutions for forests (sensors, AI systems, smart services) and are committed to sustainable reforestation and innovative forest transformation. In addition, companies are sought that offer new business models around the forest ecosystem and climate and develop innovative and sustainable concepts of wood use (processing, reuse, novel composites).
Participants in the program can expect individual mentoring, dinners with investors, workshops and tickets to the Future Forest Forum 2022, where participants will also get a pitch session.
