Semorai secures early-stage funding from Campus Founders after winning golden ticket at Heilbronn Slush'D. A relocation of the company's headquarters from Karlsruhe to Heilbronn is planned.

The Karlsruhe-based startup Semorai has set itself the task of simplifying defect management for manufacturing companies. For this, the six-member team relies on artificial intelligence and wants to develop an "AI-based quality engineer" for the industry of tomorrow. Thanks to the professional support of Campus Founders, Semorai can now start the future strengthened and take further steps on the way to realizing its vision. Oliver Hanisch, Managing Director of Venture Studio, is enthusiastic about the idea and emphasizes the importance of innovative startups for the local ecosystem.

Lucky for Semorai - double investment volume

In addition to funding from Campus Founders' Venture Studio program, BORN2GROW has also invested €100,000 in the company. The investors see great potential in Semorai and want to support the founding team on the way to realizing and developing their vision and redesigning defect management for manufacturing companies.

The relocation of the company from Karlsruhe to Heilbronn is a done deal. On the one hand, they are looking for the proximity of investors and on the other hand, they are hoping for networking effects from the AI world there.

We have also decided to move our main location to Heilbronn. In this way, we also want to benefit from the exciting dynamics in the AI sector here in Heilbronn.
