The AI start-up can thus secure a lot of money in its seed financing round. One of the company's aims is to combat the shortage of skilled workers.

The Munich-based start-up Knowron has raised a total of 1.8 million euros in its seed financing round. The AI start-up was able to convince the VC arm of ASMPT, Alchemist Accelerator and several business angels, among others. The money will go towards the growth of the team and product development.

The start-up from Munich is building a digital assistant for service technicians. This is intended to help stem the shortage of skilled workers. In principle, the product works like a search function that service technicians can use to look for solutions to questions. This is intended to replace manuals or old service reports. Artificial intelligence is also to be used in the process.

The start-up was founded by Fabian Pelzl, Arturo Buitrago Méndez and Ali Kareem Raja. They know each other from CDTM and founded the company together back in November 2020. According to its own information, the start-up has been able to convince Voith, EON and ASMPT, among others, of its solutions. The team currently comprises 12 employees.
