They are both dedicated to digital marketing, and now Double Verify is acquiring Berlin-based startup Meetrics. The closing of the purchase is expected to take place in the third quarter, nothing is known about a sum.

Meetrics, founded in Berlin in 2008, is being acquired by Double Verify (DV), an American company. The Meetrics team will support DV from its current locations. The Berlin-based company currently operates in 30 countries and serves over 80 clients. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter.

"The entire Meetrics team is excited to join forces with DoubleVerify," Meetrics founder and CEO Philipp von Hilgers said of the merger. Meetrics provides ad verification solutions that measure the success of digital campaigns.

Both companies are dedicated to digital marketing, and for DV, the acquisition means expanding its European business: "Our strategy for this mission is to verify everywhere - across channels, formats, platforms and regions. The Meetrics transaction fully supports this approach and strengthens our operational presence in EMEA," says CEO Mark Zagorski of DV. And is pleased that the merger will "further accelerate the growth of our international business."
