Mobile Healthcare Solutions receives €1.3 million

The start-up has developed an app that allows users to analyze their urine. The company has now been able to close a financing round.
The Hamburg-based startup Mobile Healthcare Solutions has received funding of 1.3 million euros, as the Handelsblatt reports. Frankfurt-based fund TA Ventures led the pre-seed financing round.
The "Casc" app developed by the company is designed to allow users to simply photograph a urine test strip. To do this, customers have to place the strip on the black surface of a color card. The software is then supposed to spit out the customer's health readings within a few seconds. The app is also supposed to give users recommendations, such as explaining which values are too high or too low and providing nutrition tips. A graph compares the results of different tests as they progress. Mobile Healthcare Solutions was founded by Raphael Wichmann, Tobias Schütz and Lennart Hahn. It was launched in 2020.
