Spaciv receives seven-figure seed funding

In its first round of financing, the Munich-based proptech was able to convince investors of its merits.
Munich-based startup Spaciv has received millions in funding. Main Incubator led the financing round. Graef, CSMM - architecture matters and another unnamed investor also participated. The Bavarian startup network BayStartUp supported the development of the proptech, which was founded in 2020. With the capital, the startup aims to grow and further build its team.
Spaciv offers cloud-based software that allows companies to analyze their space needs. Customers are said to use Spaciv to create detailed models of their office spaces and simulate various future scenarios.
"Many companies now understand how important the design of workspaces and office spaces is to company culture and ultimately to business success. However, existing tools, such as custom-built Excel spreadsheets, are often not suitable for mapping needs in a dynamic, flexible and forward-looking way. With our cloud-based web application, we can change that and optimize companies' space consumption," says Spaciv co-founder Malte Koeditz.
Koeditz is an architect and founded the proptech in 2020 together with his father, software developer Ulf Seekamp. Spaciv's clients include Serviceplan Group, Versicherungskammer Bayern and CommerzReal.
