Yaak Technologies receives funding from Investitionsbank Berlin

Yaak Technologies secures funding worth millions. Their start-up is developing a learning platform for learner drivers.
Yaak Technologies has received funding from Investitionsbank Berlin's "Pro Fit" program. The Berlin start-up can use the funds to implement its autonomous driving assistance project. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
Søren Halskov Nissen, Harsimrat Sandhawalia and Martin Zielinski founded Yaak Technologies in Berlin in 2019. The start-up has developed a learning platform for driver training. With the help of virtual reality, learner drivers can practise in 3D driving simulations and complete more driving lessons at lower training costs. The data obtained also helps with the further development of autonomous driving.
"We are currently experiencing the possibilities that autonomous driving offers if we make the best use of existing technical possibilities," says Yaak Technologies co-founder Søren Halskov Nissen. "As an introduction to this complex subject matter, a virtual reality platform in the vehicle will enable training for safe drivers."
