Yova: New name and German launch

Last week it was still called Yova, now the name is Inyova: The Swiss fintech focuses on green and ethical investments by private investors and launches its offer from today also in Germany.

Last week Inyova was still under the name Yova, now the fintech is launching its offering under a new name in Germany as well. "We are very proud that as a Swiss start-up we can set our sights on the next market after only such a short time," says CEO Tillmann Lang. "The German market has great potential."

Many of Inyova's customers are first-time investors, the startup says. This is exactly where the fintech is also targeting the German market and wants to convince with what it says is its sustainable and ethical investment strategy: "Inyova's strength is precisely to inspire people to invest money who have not invested before. The combination of digital, sustainable and an average return of six percent appeal to a new generation of investors," says Lang.

The fintech launched its offering in 2019. The concept is based on the possibility of individually set claims for one's own investment. For example, one can exclude investing in businesses with "weapons" or "tobacco", while at the same time setting preferences such as "renewable energy" or "access to education". Just in May, Inyova raised eleven million Swiss francs, which was also used to expand into Germany. Currently, the fintech is building up its German team and is looking for Frankfurt.
