DTCP leads the second financing round of Anecdotes. The startup's focus is on expansion and AI innovation

Palo Alto & Tel Aviv, April 8, 2025 - The US-Israeli startup Anecdotes has successfully closed its Series B financing round. A total of 55 million US dollars was raised. In a second financing round, a further 30 million US dollars were recently added. This round was led by DTCP. Glilot, Vertex and Red Dot had already participated previously.

The fresh capital brings Anecdotes' total amount of capital raised to 85 million US dollars.

Growing requirements in the GRC market

The GRC market is changing. Companies today are faced with increasingly complex regulatory requirements, new rules for the use of AI and rising cyber risks. Many traditional GRC solutions still work with manual processes that no longer meet current requirements.

Anecdotes not only uses AI to automate compliance processes, but also helps companies to navigate the new regulation of artificial intelligence.

Dean Shahar, Managing Director at DTCP

The GRC market comprises solutions and services related to governance, risk and compliance. Companies use GRC systems to comply with internal rules, identify risks at an early stage and meet legal requirements. In view of growing requirements due to new laws, stricter data protection regulations and cybersecurity threats, it is becoming increasingly important for companies to make their GRC processes efficient, transparent and scalable. Anecdotes aims to remedy this by better structuring and automating governance, risk and compliance data.

Goals for the new capital

Anecdotes intends to use the funding to accelerate its product development. The company plans to expand its AI-based automation solutions. The global sales strategy is also to be expanded.

In addition, the company wants to deepen strategic partnerships with large consulting and technology companies. These include the Big Four, Google Cloud, Coalfire, Schellman and ServiceNow. Another focus is on expanding the Managed Service Provider (MSP) program. The aim is to make Anecdotes' GRC solutions available to more companies worldwide.

Focus on automation and integration

We rely on structured, reliable data and AI to help companies better manage risks and compliance processes.

Yair Kuznitsov, Co-Founder and CEO of Anecdotes

Anecdotes plans to further improve its integration capabilities. Companies should be able to easily connect their existing GRC tools to the platform. The aim is to automatically capture GRC data and efficiently supplement existing systems without having to completely replace them.

Customers and market development

Anecdotes is already being used by major companies, including Snowflake, SoFi and Well Health. These customers use the platform to fundamentally modernize their GRC processes. The startup intends to use the additional capital to further strengthen its market position and fully exploit the potential of AI in the area of governance, risk and compliance.
