The entrepreneur has already successfully exited a start-up. Now he is founding a company in the crypto industry.
Postmates founder Bastian Lehmann is in the starting blocks with a new start-up: According to research by Finance Forward, he wants to gain a foothold in the crypto industry with a startup called "Tiptop Labs." The company has already been registered in the US state of Delaware since February.
About the exact offer of the start-up is not yet known. The website talks about "financial solutions for consumers in a changing internet." Accordingly, Finance Forward suspects that it could be an offering with classic currencies and cryptocurrencies.
The German native has already founded several companies, including an auction site and a design platform. Then in 2010, he launched Postmates, a meal delivery service in the US. Two years ago, he managed to exit: Uber bought Postmates for $2.65 billion.
