CASAFARI announces acquisition of Targomo and strengthens position in proptech market

CASAFARI strengthens its position in the proptech market by acquiring Targomo, an expert in location analysis. The partnership is expected to enable better investment and expansion decisions in the real estate and financial sectors.

Berlin, Lisbon - CASAFARI, one of the major real estate data platforms in Europe, has announced the acquisition of Targomo, a location analytics specialist. This acquisition will serve to solidify CASAFARI's position as a leader in the proptech space and as a data provider.

Through this acquisition, Targomo will be integrated into CASAFARI's existing portfolio of solutions. The Targomo team will continue to operate under its own brand and will continue its technology development from Berlin. Targomo had recently raised equity financing of approximately €10 million in a Series A round.

Targomo has developed AI-based software that assesses the quality of locations for various use cases and generates location-specific revenue forecasts. Their Targomo LOOP platform enables companies to find the best locations for their business model and optimize real estate providers' store networks to increase profitability. Targomo also provides a powerful API for location-based data, quality analytics and reachability calculations.

This transaction creates synergies in the real estate market: CASAFARI enhances real estate search and analytics with location intelligence, while Targomo gains access to comprehensive real estate data that is integrated into software and analytics.

The new company will operate as Targomo CASAFARI GmbH and will help companies make better investment decisions by combining location intelligence and artificial intelligence. Customers such as McDonald's Germany, McFIT/Gold's Gym, Vonovia and Søstrene Grene are already using Targomo's solutions.
