Coachhub acquires coaching division from Klaiton

The talent development platform aims to benefit from Klaiton's pool of over 500 coaches with the acquisition. However, Klaiton will retain its other core business.
Berlin-based coaching platform Coachhub is taking over the coaching business of Austrian company Klaiton. This has a pool of over 500 business coaches and counts companies such as OMV, Erste Bank Group AG and Uniqa Group among its customers. Coachhub now wants to profit from this. However, Klaiton's other core business will remain. Klaiton also places consultants with companies and has created a software solution for this purpose.
Coachhub founder Matti Niebelschütz sees the acquisition of the coaching division as a further development of the company's offering. "By acquiring Klaiton's coaching business, our pool grows to over 3,500 qualified and professional coaches," he said in a company statement.
Niebelschütz hopes it will be a win-win situation, with Klaiton's clients now benefiting from Coachhub's global network and digital platform. Meanwhile, Coachhub's existing customers would be able to access the coach network that Klaiton has built in Austria.
Klaiton's co-founder Tina Deutsch hopes the acquisition will give her company a more international focus: "I'm sure that by joining forces, we can help prepare people around the world for the challenges of the working world with our coaching services and support them in their personal development."
Coachhub describes itself as a "leading global talent development platform." The company wants to enable other companies to create a personalized coaching program. This is said to be aimed at the entire workforce, regardless of department or career level. The company operates in 70 countries on six continents. It offers coaching in more than 60 languages and serves more than 500 clients.
Klaiton, meanwhile, has built an online platform that not only places coaches, but also consultants: Companies should be able to use it to quickly find the right experts for their needs.
