Dcubed with oversubscribed Series A financing round

NewSpace startup Dcubed receives capital from eight international investors to scale production and expand in the U.S.

Munich, Germany, Westminster, Colorado, August 5, 2024 - Dcubed, a German supplier in the NewSpace sector, has successfully closed its Series A funding round. The round was 26% oversubscribed and attracted eight investors from Europe and the US, including Expansion, BayBG and HTGF. The fresh capital will be used to quadruple the production of actuators, promote manufacturing in space and expand in the US.

Growth and innovation in the NewSpace market

The new funds will enable Dcubed to quadruple its production of satellite actuators. According to forecasts, over 100,000 satellites will be needed in the next few years. Dcubed also plans to expand its leading position in the field of in-space manufacturing. This technology enables the production of high-performance satellites and satellite transporters directly in space and opens doors to future innovations such as solar energy in space and lunar bases.

Expansion in the USA

Another important step is the opening of a US subsidiary in Westminster, Colorado, a major NewSpace center. Andria Fortier will lead the expansion as Managing Director USA. The US office will tap into the world's most dynamic space ecosystem and strengthen Dcubed's global presence.
