DEALCIRCLE and AMBER take over DUB.de

DEALCIRCLE and AMBER are jointly acquiring the succession platform DUB.de. The merger creates an integrated solution for company succession in the German small and mid-cap sector for the first time. The aim is to make succession processes more efficient, more digital and more accessible for smaller companies.

Growing challenge in the SME sector

According to KfW, around 532,000 SMEs in Germany will be facing a succession by the end of 2028. This is a structural issue with enormous social and economic relevance. Lower SMEs with an EBITDA of less than 1 million euros in particular often lack visibility and access to suitable buyers.

By combining their respective strengths, the providers want to jointly set a new standard for digital succession processes:

• DEALCIRCLE brings in data-based matching with access to thousands of vetted prospective buyers
• AMBER offers digital processing with structured, user-friendly processes
• As the online marketplace with the widest reach,DUB.de provides the necessary visibility for sales offers

The platforms remain operationally independent, but will work together in future via networked processes, interfaces and synergies.

Succession is too important to continue to solve it analogously. Together, we are bringing digital efficiency, scalability and greater transparency to a market that has often been based on Excel, Outlook and gut instinct.

The takeover was legally supported by Dr. Ahmad Khonsari on the buyer's side and Stefan Buschmann (BSP) on the seller's side. The deal is also exciting in view of the fact that DEALCIRCLE has just closed a EUR 5 million round, which was explicitly intended for acquisitions(we reported).
