The Edtech thus closed its Series A financing round. Now the Edtech wants to expand and develop its own platform.

Edtech Easy Tutor raises 4.8 million euros in its Series A financing round. The money comes, among others, from existing investor Bayern Kapital, which is once again participating through its innovation fund BKI EFRE. The investors are joined by Munich-based family office K+K1, which is led by Timify founder Andreas Knürr. "As a father of two children, I naturally worry about what the world they grow into will look like," says Knürr. "E-learning and digital classrooms will be the most important topics of the future."

With the fresh capital, the startup plans to continue to grow in the German-speaking region, but also expand into the immediate European market. This is planned by mid-2023. "In the coming years, we would like to become the number one contact point for students:inside, parents and schools across Europe when it comes to high-quality, digital school-accompanying tutoring," says co-founder Massimo Cancellara.

To this end, Easy Tutor's own platform is to be further expanded. There, tutors are offered for around 20 school subjects. For the offer Easy Tutor co-operates according to own data with approximately 200 partner schools, in addition, with soccer federal league clubs such as the FC Bavaria Munich. The company was also founded in the Bavarian capital in 2017, and today it says it has more than 12,000 users.
