One million euros for Motourismo

The Hamburg-based start-up has received one million euros in its seed financing round from business angels, clothing companies and funds. Motourismo offers worldwide deals for motorcyclists via its platform.

Hamburg-based start-up Motourismo describes itself as an online travel agency for tours, holidays and training for motorcyclists end. It has now raised one million euros in its seed funding round. The start-up wants to use the money for the development of its technology and its expansion.

The list of investors is long: in addition to several business angels, the manufacturer of motorcycle clothing Rev`it from the Netherlands is also involved, as well as the American motorcycle community Advriver and Danube Angels, a financing platform through which small investors can also invest in companies. Motourismo is also receiving support from IFB Innovationsstarter through the Corona Recovery Fund.

"We are very much looking forward to continuing our successful path now with the support of our new, international shareholders," says CMO Christoph Kähler, who founded the Hamburg-based start-up in 2016 together with Michael Carlin. Motourismo now works with more than 100 partners, and since last year the service has also been available in English.
