One million euros for Motourismo

The Hamburg-based start-up has received one million euros from business angels, clothing companies and funds in its seed financing round. Motourismo offers worldwide deals for motorcyclists via its platform.
The Hamburg-based start-up Motourismo describes itself as an online travel agency for tours, vacations and training for motorcyclists. It has now raised one million euros in its seed financing round. The start-up intends to use the money to develop its technology and expand.
The list of investors is long: in addition to several business angels, it includes the Dutch motorcycle clothing manufacturer Rev`it, the American motorcycle community Advriver and Danube Angels, a financing platform through which small investors can also invest in companies. Motourismo is also receiving support from IFB Innovationsstarter via the Corona Recovery Fund.
"We are very much looking forward to continuing our successful journey with the support of our new, international shareholders," says CMO Christoph Kähler, who founded the Hamburg-based start-up together with Michael Carlin in 2016. Motourismo now works with more than 100 partners, and the service has also been available in English since last year.
