Hamburg start-up Oak25 launches distress sale

Supply problems caused by the pandemic had taken their toll on Oak25. Emil Woermann and Jacob Leffers now want to save their start-up with a distress sale.
Oak25 is probably facing insolvency - although according to information from Gründerszene were still going well until the end of 2021. The Hamburg-based start-up had run into liquidity problems due to pandemic-related delivery problems and increased delivery prices. Now the start-up is asking its customers for support.
"The goods we so urgently needed for Christmas are only now being delivered, overflowing our warehouse, tying up our capital and draining our cash register," explains co-founder Emil Woermann in a one-minute Video message on the startup's website. That's why Oak25 now launched a distress sale. Between 30 and 50 percent discount is currently available on the reflective backpacks and fanny packs for cyclists.
Emil Woermann and Jacob Leffers founded Oak25 in Hamburg. In 2019, the two founders introduced their rainproof, reflective backpacks for cyclists on Kickstarter, raising 20,000 euros. About You founder Tarek Müller also supported the start-up.
