Home store collects six-figure amount

The company offers rental systems for e-car charging at the customer's own parking space. This is intended to accelerate the transition to e-mobility.
The Franconian start-up Heimladen, with offices in Würzburg and Cologne, has closed its first round of financing for a "high six-figure amount." The company did not yet disclose the exact amount of funding. With the founders of Munich-based Gridx, David Balensiefen and Andreas Booke, Heimladen secured investors from the energy sector. Markus Heuer from the company Inter-Bau brings access to the real estate industry.
The business angels who have now stepped in are to help with sales, product development and marketing. The start-up specializes in charging e-cars. More specifically, it's about charging infrastructure for real estate: the company offers a solution for charging cars at their own parking space - deliberately not relying on public charging locations.
"Our mission is to accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility by making
making access as easy as possible," says founder and CEO Max Wojtynia, who founded Heimladen 2020. He works with his co-founders Niklas Slatin (COO), Christian Arians (CTO) and Philip Haverkamp (consultant).
At the heart of the company is the "wallbox subscription" business model: users get the charging point at their own parking space from 35 euros a month. The fee includes provision of the charging point, operation, administration including billing, and customer service. According to the company, hundreds of parking spaces are already under contract. These also include new construction projects.
