Lendis raises 80 million euros

The financing round consists of 30 million euros in equity and 50 million euros in debt capital.
The Berlin-based start-up Lendis has announced a Series A financing round of 80 million euros. The round is led by investors Circularity Capital and Keen Venture Partners. Other new investors include Coparion, HGDF and KPN Ventures as well as existing investors HV Capital, DN Capital and Picus Capital. The money from the round consists of 30 million euros in equity and 50 million euros in debt capital. The total financing of Lendis now exceeds 100 million euros.
Lendis offers companies a SaaS solution that enables them to set up and manage their employees' equipment and software in the hybrid working world. The capital is intended to accelerate the company's product development. By 2023, founders Julius Bolz and Stavros Papadopoulos want to make Lendis the leading SaaS solution for the hybrid working world in Europe. To achieve this, they want to hire people from all over the world and double the size of the tech and product team.
"Hybrid work is here to stay. The transition to the new way of working is a major challenge for companies. Lendis is strongly positioned to shape this change," says Alexander Ribbink, General Partner at Keen Venture Partners. "Millions of tons of office equipment end up in the trash every year. Lendis is helping companies to change this," adds Andrew Shannon, Founding Partner at Circularity Capital.
Lendis is a coronavirus winner: the company's solution is designed to enable companies to set up and manage all their work equipment - including laptops, smartphones, office furniture - and software digitally. Lendis was founded three years ago. The company has since equipped over 100,000 employees at more than 1,000 companies. According to the company, these include Hochtief, Bitburger, Lufthansa, AboutYou, WWF and Personio.
