New funding for Rostock shower start-up

Duschkraft receives over one million euros, both from an existing investor and from a new backer. The Rostock-based company now wants to use the money to revise its product.
The Rostock-based start-up Duschkraft is receiving over one million euros in venture capital. The money comes from both proptech investor High Rise Ventures and one of its existing backers, Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Duschkraft has developed a dehumidifier designed to prevent mold growth after a shower. The founders appeared with the product on the Prosieben show "Das Ding des Jahres", among others. In addition to end customer sales, the company now also cooperates with over 40 housing associations.
"Through these successes, High Rise Ventures also became aware of us. The financing round that has now been completed enables us to once again significantly accelerate the successful marketing of the Duschkraft Home," explained Managing Director Stefan Goletzke. The Rostock-based company plans to launch a new version of its product before the end of the year.
