Resility closes financing round for seven-figure sum

The founders come from the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam and support companies in securing their cloud. Now Resility, which was only founded this year, has convinced investors.
Resility has raised a seven-figure sum in its current financing round. The money comes from High-Tech Gründerfonds, Brandenburg Kapital, a subsidiary of the investment bank of the state of Brandenburg, and Inqventures, incubator of the IT service provider Adesso. The cloud security start-up plans to use the money to invest in its team and expansion.
Resility helps companies secure their cloud by identifying and closing security gaps and detecting cyberattacks. The concept has convinced Frank Reinecke from High-Tech Gründerfonds: "I invested in Resility because the solution addresses a market problem that currently affects many companies in the cloud and convinces with its unique technology and ease of use."
Resility is looking to expand its offering for Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google clouds. The concept on cloud security standards comes from Potsdam's Hasso Plattner Institute. The founders Kennedy Torkura, Muhammad Ihsan Haikal Sukmana, Nils Karn and Thomas Fricke are alumni of the institute.
