Treasurehunter completes Pre-Series A round

The start-up successfully closed its Pre-Series A financing round on May 12. The Munich-based company raised around 1.85 million euros in equity and up to six million euros in debt capital.

Treasurehunter has successfully closed its Pre-Series A financing round. The company has received approximately 1.85 million euros in equity and up to six million euros in debt capital. The start-up plans to use the money to acquire content sites in the coming weeks.

The investors are mainly experienced industry experts who will regularly help the company not only with their network, but also strategically and operationally to achieve its ambitious goals. For example, Felix Brosius of fxventures.de - operator of several content portals such as pflegewelt.de - and content expert and series founder Arne Stoschek are among the investors.

"An exciting phase now begins for us, in which we acquire numerous content sites, integrate them synergistically into our growing portfolio and develop them into dominant publisher brands," announces co-founder and co-CEO Michael Fink.

Treasurehunter has been building, operating, buying and selling websites for 15 years. In doing so, the start-up has focused primarily on small websites in order to support them with suitable applications, partners and financial assistance.
