Yaak Technologies receives funding from Investitionsbank Berlin

Yaak Technologies can secure funding worth millions. Their start-up is developing a learning platform for learner drivers.
Yaak Technologies has received funding from Investitionsbank Berlin's "Pro Fit" program. The funds will enable the Berlin-based start-up to implement its autonomous driving assistance project. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
Søren Halskov Nissen, Harsimrat Sandhawalia and Martin Zielinski founded Yaak Technologies 2019 in Berlin. The startup has developed a learning platform for driver training. With the help of virtual reality, learner drivers can practice in 3D driving simulations and complete more driving lessons at lower training costs. The data obtained also helps in the further development of autonomous driving.
"We are currently experiencing the possibilities that autonomous driving offers if we make ideal use of existing technical possibilities," says Yaak Technologies co-founder Søren Halskov Nissen. "As an introduction to the complex matter, a virtual reality platform in the vehicle will provide training for safe drivers."
