Connect. Learn. Grow. – How femella brings the Women of Tomorrow together
Networks play a crucial role in personal and professional development. But especially at the start of their careers, young women often lack access to the very contacts, experiences, and role models that can open up new perspectives.
This is exactly where femella comes in.
Founded in 2022, this nonprofit community brings together ambitious women from diverse academic disciplines, industries, and professional backgrounds. Today, femella connects more than 700 members across various European cities—including Munich, Berlin, Zurich, Copenhagen, and London. A new hub is currently being established in New York.
It’s not just about traditional networking. Rather, the focus is on the question: How can young women learn from one another, grow together, and support each other on their personal and professional journeys?
Three Pillars: Connect, Learn & Grow
femella’s work is based on three central pillars: Connect, Learn, and Grow.
Connect creates spaces where genuine connections can form. From group fitness sessions to creative workshops and relaxed get-togethers, the focus here is on personal interaction—getting to know people who share similar ambitions, questions, and challenges.
Learn brings knowledge and new perspectives to the community. Workshops, keynote talks, panel discussions, and company visits give young women insights into various industries and topics—from women’s health and entrepreneurship to future-oriented topics like artificial intelligence.
Grow features larger-scale events that inspire, open up new perspectives, and empower women in their personal and professional development. Whether it’s female empowerment events in collaboration with partners like Lillet or a Female Entrepreneurship Summit focused on starting a business and self-employment—this is where women come together to learn from one another and support each other.
True to the motto: Growing Together.

From Pilates to the Bundestag to Female Entrepreneurship
The Munich Hub demonstrates just how diverse these formats can be.
For example, an event in collaboration with a female-founded Pilates studio brought together exercise, community, and a focus on women’s health.
Other formats deliberately create space for casual exchange or address topics such as climate careers, the Bundestag, leadership, and new technologies —for example, at McKinsey.
Another example was the large-scale Female Entrepreneurship Summit 2026, organized in collaboration with other initiatives. The goal was to inspire more young women to pursue entrepreneurship, bring different communities together, and facilitate dialogue with founders and other stakeholders in the startup ecosystem.
It’s precisely this mix that defines femella: One event might start with a group workout, while another might feature a company tour at a consulting firm, a visit to the Bundestag, or a panel discussion with inspiring female speakers.
& Spoiler: The rest of this year and the first quarter of 2027 will be creative, active, and full of new ideas! Look forward to exciting events centered on creativity, stretching, artificial intelligence, and finance. 💗✨
Community Over Competition
At the heart of femella lies a core belief: collaboration over competition.
Through our events, a student or young professional can strike up a conversation with a founder, a young executive, or another student—and what starts as a brief exchange can lead to a new connection, a career idea, or even a friendship. That’s our goal.
A network that grows with its members
New hubs, partnerships with companies and initiatives, as well as new event and learning formats, are designed to give even more young women access to knowledge, networks, and opportunities for personal development in the future.
Or, as femella puts it: Connect. Learn. Grow.
