These are the most clicked interviews of 2022

These conversations with founders, investors and financial experts interested our readers most in 2022.

The personalities behind the startups are often just as exciting - if not more so - than the business models. But it wasn't just interviews with founders that you enjoyed reading in 2022, but also reports. Here come the five most clicked interviews of the year:

In the start-up scene, too, sex sells! The interview with Voiyal co-founder Pauline Schmiechen had the most clicks. She had the idea for an app where erotic stars record intimate voice messages - an "OnlyFans for Audio". In our conversation, she told us what her parents thought of it, the advantages of voice memos over videos, and what content creators tell their customers.

In second place is an interview by Jan Schulte with VC investor Fabian J. Fischer in May. Fischer's thesis: Neobroker N26 is overvalued, a valuation correction is necessary. In the interview, Fischer describes another trend that he believes will define the scene for the next three years: Continuation funds.

Jannes Fischer's interview about his proptech record exit was read by you with great interest. The Vermietet.de founder provided two exciting perspectives in the interview. First, he explains how to keep a start-up running within a larger company. Second, he takes up the cudgels for landlords.

In fourth place is an interview from our Start-up of the Month series. Sophie Zeller spoke with Viktoria Lindner about her start-up Mindsurance. Through her platform, the psychologist knows what drives people: stress, isolation and loneliness. That's why Lindner's vision is to grow Mindsurance into a digital mental health practice.

Also in fifth place is an interview about a founder's exit. Stephan Stricker managed a multi-million exit with the debt collection start-up Pair Finance. His fingertips were itching to get back to work, but he did not announce a new project in the interview.
