Ben Tellings rises at Bling

The former head of ING-Diba supports the Berlin pocket money start-up as a business angel.
The pocket money fintech Bling has gained a prominent investor: The former CEO of ING-Diba, Ben Tellings, is investing a mid-six-figure sum. This is reported by FinanceFWD. He is not the first well-known investor. Verena Pausder got on board earlier this year.
Nils Feigenwinter founded Bling in 2021. The start-up offers an app that children can use to collect and spend their pocket money. Parents also have access and can monitor spending. Bling works together with the Société Générale subsidiary Treezor.
What is unusual about Bling is that the start-up does not offer a free basic version; using the app costs at least 2.99 euros per month from the outset. So far, the fintech says it has over 1,000 paying subscribers.
