Ben Tellings rises at Bling

The former head of ING-Diba supports the Berlin pocket money start-up as a business angel.
The pocket money fintech Bling can attract a prominent investor: Former ING-Diba CEO Ben Tellings is investing a mid-six-figure sum. This reports FinanceFWD. He is not the first well-known backer. In the spring of this year, Verena Pausder had already joined the company.
Nils Feigenwinter founded Bling 2021. The start-up offers an app that allows children to collect and spend their pocket money. Parents also have access and can control spending. To do this, Bling is working with Société Générale subsidiary Treezor.
What's unusual about Bling is that the startup doesn't offer a free basic version; using the app costs at least 2.99 euros a month from the start. So far, the fintech says it has over 1,000 paying subscribers.
