Enna closes financing round

The sum is said to be in the seven-digit range. Osnabrück-based family office Zwei.7 leads the round.

Munich-based start-up Enna has raised a seven-figure sum in a financing round. The round was led by Osnabrück-based family office Zwei.7. TQ Group, an electronics service provider, also invested in the start-up. 350,000 euros came from Wayra, an innovation hub of the Spanish telecommunications company Telefónica.

Jakob Bergmeier, Tim Haug and Moritz Kutschera founded Enna 2020 together. With their digital application, they want to make it easier for older people who are less tech-savvy to access the Internet. The Enna app will allow seniors to make video calls, receive photo and video messages, share photo albums, listen to podcasts and watch YouTube videos.

"We are very proud and happy to have successfully completed our seed round and to have such strong new partners on board for the future," says Bergmeier. The lack of digital participation in our society is a very relevant problem that Enna wants to solve, he adds. With the new money behind it, Enna plans to further expand its app on the one hand, and on the other, to step up its marketing activities ahead of the planned market launch shortly before Christmas.
