Court to rule on election of Gorillas works council

The delivery service believes that all was not above board in the selection of the election committee. It is the next chicanery in the labor dispute.
The Berlin labor court is hearing today on the application of the delivery service Gorillas to cancel a works council election planned for the end of November. The Berlin start-up claims that the procedure for appointing the election committee had already not proceeded properly. The election notice also contained significant errors. In addition, it was not posted in all the required places.
In addition, the term "establishment" was misunderstood and this election committee had no competence for the employees who were called to vote here. The election committee, on the other hand, stands by its intention to hold the election.
There have been heated internal debates about working conditions at the delivery service for some time. Only yesterday, according to the police, 350 people took part in a demonstration to support the Gorillas employees.
