The company intends to use the capital to grow in Europe and offer additional products.

In times of inflation and high energy prices, many consumers increasingly have to watch their money. This seems to be benefiting providers that aim to help people gain better control over their own finances. One such is the start-up Anyfin, which also wants to enable its users to obtain better interest rates on existing consumer loans. It has now landed 30 million euros.

The company got the money in a Series C funding round. This was led by existing investor Northzone. Also involved are Accel, EQT Ventures, Fintech Collective, Quadrille Capital and Augmentum Fintech, as well as Citi Ventures as a new investor. Since 2017, the company says it has raised nearly €600 million in debt and equity, the latter totaling €106 million.

The company says it plans to use the capital to further expand its product range in existing markets across Europe. It also said it wants to accelerate the development of new technologies. "The investment demonstrates that the financial industry is on the verge of a major realignment that puts people's financial well-being first," says Mikael Hussain, CEO and co-founder of Anyfin.

Anyfin currently operates in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Germany. Since the company launched in Germany in March 2021, it says it has seen an average monthly growth rate of 15 percent there and fivefold growth in 2022.
