Appointments can be booked at short notice (10 minutes before the appointment) and at flexible times (weekdays between 7 am and 10 pm) via notarity. Before the appointment, only the online verification process needs to be completed, during which an electronic signature is created. During the video conference with a notary, the documents are digitally signed. After notarization, the certified documents are available for download or, if desired, in written form. These can be used worldwide, and if required, notarity also takes care of the preparation of an apostille.

The German market is very much dominated by bureaucratization and the associated lengthy processes. In contrast, legislation in Austria is very progressive and digitization-friendly in this area.
