Troy receives eight-figure investment sum

The start-up has found a new investor in Transaction Capital - and it has big plans.
The start-up Troy from Lippstadt in North Rhine-Westphalia has landed an eight-figure investment sum in a Series A financing round. It has gained the South African financial services provider Transaction Capital as a new investor. Existing investors also remained on board as part of the round.
Transaction Capital is not just investing money. The company has a strategic goal. It wants to use Troy's debt collection platform to open up new market segments in its home markets of South Africa and Australia. For Troy and its clients, this means that the start-up will soon be active in these countries too. The partnership with Troy will enable Transaction Capital to enter the early collection segment in its core markets, says Stephan Venter, Group Executive of Transaction Capital Risk Services. Early collection means that the company takes over receivables as soon as they fall due. The start-up then takes further action and contacts the debtors directly. According to Venter, Transaction Capital also wants to strengthen its regional expansion into Europe and the USA.
